Above is the foundations of our web page for Dinosaur Pile-Up designed on iWeb. We have begun on producing the tour dates section and the bands logo.

Mood Board - Performance

This is a mood board showing images, from the bands official sources, of them performing. We have collated these images to analyse  the bands image in accordance to there genre. 

Mood Board - Band Image

Like the performance board, these images are of the bands marketing and of the covers of there previous releases. These images allow us to take ideas and inspiration to adapt and develop our own cover/ webpage.

Music Video Proposal

Before filming and producing our video, we had to pre-plan and give a proposal to the rest of the group sharing our ideas and what we have planned for the video. This sheet is our planning sheet for our proposal which you can see in use in our video proposal.

Music Video Research of similar Videos

Before planing our actual video, we looked at past videos with similar standards we were aiming for and looked at the different aspects looked upon in them; performance, narrative, conceptual, music & visuals and lyrics and visuals.

Music Video Textual Analysis: Bush - Swallowed

Above is a textual analysis grid for the Bush music video 'Swallowed'. The video itself is a very good example for the kind of overall feel we are aiming to achieve in our video. The mise-en-scene, location and lighting is all correct for the genre of grunge making a great video to reference back to when we are shooting our video. 

CD/Webpage design

This is a first idea/sketch for our webpage aswell as a possibility for a CD cover. We used photoshop with an image of earth we found and edited to suit our genre i.e. fun and cartoon-like.

Song Permission Email

As stated above this is our permission email sent to Dinosaur Pile-Up asking if we could have permission to use there song for our music video.

CD Research - Digipak

For our own CD Digipak idea, we intend to incorporate different aspects of all these CD's and incorperatate them in one design to create a typical yet modern digipak for our artist. For our genre, the colour scheme would be mainly focused around blacks and browns to recreate the dim/moody setting. A singular image will be used to demonstrate the songs metaphorical meaning and the inside sleeve will be aimed to supply lyrics and band images. All of these will tie in with the bands genre with no real distractions from it and the overall piece will be aimed at our set audience and nothing unusual or extra conceptual will be present.
